WSA's Special Needs Program

The Westfield Soccer Association (WSA) offers a soccer program exclusively for special needs children in the Westfield community.  The program, called “Westfield Winners”, is designed to meet the needs of children with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.

***Space for this program is limited and players will be accepted on a first come, first served basis***

Program Description and Objectives

Westfield Winners is a non-competitive, one-on-one soccer program designed to offer a safe environment where special needs children can learn to play and enjoy the game of soccer.  Children will play at their own pace in a relaxed atmosphere guided by their own dedicated ‘Soccer Buddy’.  Westfield Winners also aims to encourage higher self-esteem and a sense of belonging to a team.

The program is open to any special needs school-age child in Westfield between the ages of 6 through 17 and runs in seperate sessions in the fall and spring.
